7 Pounds: Movie for Retards

Written by Grumpy Old Man

All I’d heard about the movie was that our very own lovable scoundrel Will Smith was the lead actor, I hadn’t even seen any previews nor read any reviews. Quite unlike me, but I was on a date and I decided to let the girl pick… big mistake… see what my dated idea of chivalry got me?

Well, back to the movie, the first 30 minutes or so were good, interesting even and then it all went down hill really fast. You see, the director, the writer all of them must honestly believe that the rest of the human population on earth are even more retarded than they are. I mean seriously, thats the only explanation I can give for the kind of crap they attempted to pull of.  Who the hell really didn’t figure this movie out in the first 30 minutes? I’m sure darwin took care of them like 20 generations ago so I’m really baffled, flabergasted even, actually seriously pissed that these guys took me for a fool.

30 minutes, that’s exactly how long this movie should have been, however they decided to drag it on for what seemed like an eternity. When I finally got up, I felt like I had just watched the entire Lord of the Rigns trilogy back to back, along with all the dvd extras but without the good story.  Seriously, this movie is long. Very long and boring.

I’d say definitely watch it if you’re retarded and almost dying and need proof that there’s nothing left in this world for you so you can finally rest in peace.

Anyone else unfortunate enough to have seen this movie?

Thanks a lot A’hole you’ve given me another reason to stay away from Will Smith Movies, the guy must be using some kinda jazz to make drab movies and yet get called the most bankable movie star in the world, i love Will Smith as a person as an actor lets not go there, am still recovering from Hancock, God saved him in pursuit of happiness, only a meteorite shower will make me watch I am legend……..honestly apart Bad Boys,Hitch and I-Robot which were stand alone movies, his movies suck especially when they’re hyped the way they are……so even with the company of a gurl you cldn’t help but be pissed then i ain’t gonna risk my sanity watching that movie………in short its strictly b-movies and independent movies henceforth popcorn movies my ass.

I still think Will Smith is over-rated, but having said that I agree that i-robot, bad boys and the pursuit of happiness are his best movies, but he’s best acting performances came in pursuit of happiness and (In spite of it’s royal grossness) Six degrees of separation.
